Kellie martin is an American film, television and stage performer. Her most famous role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy", Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Her other notable roles include her title character in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin was the daughter of a department store buyer as well as the kindergarten teacher. She began acting as a child at the age of seven. her aunt, who was an nanny for Michael Landon's family, helped Martin get a part as an actor on the television show Father Murphy.
